I don’t condone cheating. Never have and never will. But are people really that shocked about Tiger Woods and his adultery??? I mean come on.
The guy is a billionaire (not millionaire), a celebrity, and always on the road. To be honest what woman doesn’t find money sexy??? And what man doesn’t use it as a source of power??? It’s a simple equation. Woman throws herself at man and man sees he can get some REAL easily. After it happens once he goes back for more and more.
Yes the guy is a family man and yes he may love his wife, but so what. That thing between his legs has its own mind and all it takes is a few good looking women, some bottles of Kristal and its ready to go. For the average billionaire this scenario happens all the time.
Maybe Tiger has a sex addiction or maybe he’s just a bastard who doesn’t give a shit. Who knows? But whoever is shocked about his affairs I think is plain stupid. The guy is a celebrity who has the world at his hands and can have anything at anytime he wants.
I’m not saying that all men of his stature cheat. What I am saying is that people should not be shocked and should become more realistic.

My Baby Girl is Here!!!!
Yesterday was awesome!!! My baby girl arrived at 2:29 pm looking perfect, beautiful, and healthy!!! Just as with my son, this was one of the best days of my life
Only 7 /12 hours of labor, an AWESOME pain IV, and an epidural this baby was ready to go!!! The nurse called in the doc and prepared the room for delivery. After ONE push, which was suppose to be for practice, TWO deep breaths and THREE minutes later I got that baby out!!!! It was unbelievable. My son was 3 pushes 15 minutes, and this time wasn’t even half of that. I may have not been the best student, but I deserve an A+ in getting pregnant, making babies, and giving birth! Needless to say, I had a couple glasses of wine in my hand as soon that baby was cleaned up followed by some champagne.
My little girl is stunning. She has beautiful features, skin, and the thickest black hair ever!!! I couldn’t believe someone of my light coloring could pop something out like that. Genetics are amazing.
Baby girl you have got some HUGE shoes to fill being named after your grandpa Larry. You must be super fun, wild, a bit dangerous, LOVE to party, socialize like CRAZY, be optimistic, generous, and smile, smile, smile. Also you must love to be with your family, be EXTREMELY popular, never be lazy, be hardworking, athletic, treat people with an unbelievable sense of kindness, and always remember your friends are family. Oh and how could I forget, you MUST have a heart of gold. You think you can handle all that little girl? I bet you can!!!

Cocktails Not Mocktails!!!
This past week my friends threw me the most perfect baby shower/birthday party!!! But as I think about it what’s perfect for me is not perfect for everyone else. The way I like it may not be the way my friend does.
It was at a hotel bar. Instead of baby bottles they gave me liquor bottles. Instead of clothes they gave me condoms. Instead of baby rhymes I got cocktail books. And instead of the typical food and mocktails this shower was strictly champagne and drinks!!! What could be better for party mom?? Maybe drinking the champagne and then bringing the bar back to my hotel suite for an after party. But hey, give me a few weeks and I can make it happen!
I guess I’m not the type of girl who likes showers. To me whether it’s a baby shower or wedding shower they both kind of suck. I mean they are super cute and most I go to are super beautiful and the food is always the best, but who wants to sit there and watch someone open baby clothes or pots and pans and play those stupid games. NOT ME!!!! But remember I love celebrations for anyone and especially my friends and family. I love throwing people parties of all kind, but dainty showers and tea parties bore me to death!!!
EVEN THOUGH THESE TYPES OF PARTIES ARE NOT MY CUP OF TEA I AM STILL THERE HAVING A GREAT TIME AND CELEBRATING THE OCCASION.
At any kind of party I truly feel that it’s not only about the person of the hour. It’s about everyone!! Even if your friends are throwing a party in your honor you should never forget what’s going on with them. The party was in my honor, but in my eyes it’s another reason to celebrate my friends who just had babies, my friends that are pregnant, the upcoming nuptials of my sister, and all the wonderful friendship and love in the room. Not to mention it’s the holidays!!!! It’s like the rule that you can’t wear white to a wedding. GIVE ME A BREAK!! You think no one is gonna know who the bride is if someone else is wearing the same color dress?
To me life is not as much fun if you make it all about you. The more to celebrate the better!!! So what if it’s your engagement party. Don’t forget about your friend there that just had a baby or that just got married too!
I thank my girls tons for making my night so fun and special. But I also thank each of them for their lives which offer so much for me to celebrate and look forward too!!! We wouldn’t have so much to talk and smile about it weren’t for all of us!!

Tis the Season!!!!
I was at Whole Foods yesterday and it really hit me that the season has begun!! I love this time of year. I walked around sampling every holiday recipe that they were giving out. I love all the glitz, glamour, and food that make me realize the season has begun.
Most people get irritated around this time of year. The mall traffic, Christmas carols, decorations, and over joyfulness gets annoying to them. But not me. Once Halloween begins I am SOOOOO happy. Fall is here. The weather is changing and it puts the biggest smile on my face. I love it when the time changes and you feel like it’s 7, but it’s only 6. It makes me want to curl up on the couch with the TV, hubby, and a nice scotch. Most people hate this time change. But of course not me and as you can tell from my blog, I am not like everyone else. When the Christmas music starts playing on the radio I turn it up so loud and sing my brains out. Lastly, my favorite thing about this time of the year is all the parties. Everyone is out and about celebrating. Restaurants, bars, and venues are filled with people drinking and toasting.
I used to wonder why I go to this extreme level of excitement this time of year and I realized it’s because of my family. We always make everything into a celebration. Whether my sister got a new car or it was just a pretty Sunday night we always toast and celebrate. Why not do it like this. Life is too short not to celebrate every minute you can.
So take my advice, readers. Enjoy the holiday season. Be happy, thankful, and celebrate with everything around you. Don’t get irritated over the nonstop jingle bell rock on the radio. Just go with it. Between the economic crises and life’s everyday obstacles, you are only going to enjoy this time of the year if you let yourself. Also in four weeks and counting I will be there celebrating with you. A new born in one arm, a one year old in the other, the music on, and a straw stuck to my lips sucking down some of my favorite scotch.

My baby is 1!!!
This past weekend was my sons 1 year birthday. I can’t believe it’s been a year already and I can’t believe I’m getting ready to have another baby in a few weeks. OYE!!!
The day went great and I was really proud of myself. The food was delicious, the décor was perfect, and the family and friends were the icing on the cake. It was a Halloween party and all the kids looked adorable in their costumes. One minor problem was the gigantic moonwalk. Way too big for party and probably not the best thing for a bunch of 1 year olds.
Planning a kid’s birthday party is so different then the other parties I’ve done in the past. Usually the bulk of your money is alcohol and maybe some food, but this time it was food and pumpkin décor. Normally my biggest concern would be if we have enough scotch or vodka. This time it was do we have enough doritos, cake, and gift bags.
If you know anything about me so far having alcohol is a MUST at a party. I don’t care if it’s your child’s birthday or your dogs. A party must have booze. No booze means not a party. And I’m not talking about beer and wine. I’m talking beer ,wine, and liquor. This was my kind of party. Kids eating cake and adults drinking cocktails. I even had a bartender which is not always necessary, but to me makes everything a little better and much more fun.
As the day went I had so many emotions. First, I was on my feet for so long and I was getting tired. Next was seeing my little baby boy in his adorable costume. I love my beautiful son more than anything in the world. He makes me smile and through everything he also makes me realize that life is so wonderful and special. The last emotion was thinking about my dad. A year ago that day he ran into the delivery room to meet his newest buddy. I would have done anything to have him there. He loved his family more than anything and especially his grandchildren. But I do know he was watching down on the party proud of all of us and my nicely stocked bar and bartender. Having him there would have made the day perfect, but the happiness and celebrating definitely made me feel his presence.

Final Flight
I love Chicago!!! Visiting my friends there puts the biggest smile on my face. Ask my husband any chance I get to I’m there, but this goes for really any trip with the girls!
Since I am at the end of my pregnancy I went on my final flight to Chicago.. It was great, but traveling anywhere when pregnant sucks!!! I made the best of it and ate all the bread, cheese, potatoes, and desert I wanted.
This trip was not like most in the past. I went with my mom, her friend, and my son. One of my friends there was pregnant, one just had a baby, and the other is engaged. Usually we don’t come in until 6am. We sleep all day and get ready for round 2. This time I realized what a beautiful city Chicago is. We actually shopped and saw the city in the daytime.
I will say it wasn’t as fun being pregnant in one of my favorite cities where I love to party more than anything. Bringing my son wasn’t my first choice, but I really didn’t mind. I did get a sitter for both nights so I could relax with the girls and my mom could go bar hop with her friend. Yes, my mom had a much wilder time than me.
The trip was short, but great. I got see my girlfriends and it was the perfect trip for my last flight.
I will promise you this. I may be about to have my second child, but I will not give up my girls trips and that is some heavy duty advice I can give to all the young moms! And if you are with your child on a trip splurge and get a sitter!!! You must always continue to have fun!!

Completely Unfair
For those of you who don’t remember I love Widespread Panic and would do anything to see them play. So I had this incredible plan to get back and see them. I convinced my husband to incorporate business with pleasure. I convinced him to go out of town, see widespread and entertain his important clients at the same time. I was so excited he agreed to do it.
So there I was on the road. I had been looking so forward to this night. No kid, a hotel, and Widespread Panic. All I needed was a few cocktails and everything would be perfect. So I thought…
After a day of relaxing in the hotel while hubby worked we were suppose to be picked up at 6:00 for some dinner before the show. But of course our times were off and the important clients were running late. I was fuming, but had to keep my mouth shut.
I was irritated at their tardiness, but when I met them I could care less. They were so cool and nice and I knew they were the perfect people to spend the evening with.
The food was great, but the service truly sucked. Our server must have been stoned out of her mind cause she was the slowest person I’ve ever met. I sipped on my coke, which I had been saving up for. You can only have one cup of caffeine a day when pregnant. And everyone else was getting wasted off sangria and half price tequila shots. I was so jealous and started to get irritated. Especially since everyone was partying their brains out and I was only enjoying my caffeine buzz that would be over real soon.
We got the venue and the unthinkable happened. WE JUST MISSED WIDESPREAD. I was shocked!!! The girl who is never late misses her favorite band play. Not to mention this night was my idea. I was pregnant and sober out of my mind. I couldn’t stop laughing because I was stunned and my husband couldn’t stop apologizing. I wanted to freak out so badly, but I didn’t. I let it pass. We were with business people and I couldn’t let them see that side of me.
We watched the Allman Brothers which was great, but not what I was looking forward to. Husband and friends continued to booze it up and dance.
After the show they dropped me off and the last thing hubby said was “love you, I will be home in an hour.” Well about 4 hours later I wake up to his pitter patter and find out its 2:30. Then I wake up at 7:00 to him vomiting in the bathroom. Sounded like he really tied one on.
To make a long story short. I had to drive us back to Atlanta that afternoon in the pouring down rain. Husband was too hung over and couldn’t keep his eyes open. As I drove I could not stop laughing. I missed Widespread, couldn’t even drink, couldn’t continue out to the bars, and I end up driving my hung over husband back home in shitty weather. What a night! MOST wives would kill there husband, but I have another idea.
Until Next Time,
Party Mom
Hubby if you are reading this. How does NYE Panic sound??? Babysitter (all night), cab downtown, and booze. I think you owe me BIGTIME!!!
